Our sleep studies consist of recording a variety of body functions during sleep, such as the electrical activity of the brain, known as sleep staging, eye movements, muscle activity, heart rate and rhythm, respiratory effort, airflow, end tidal carbon dioxide monitoring, and blood oxygen levels. These tests are used to diagnose sleep disorders and determine the severity.

Trained technicians will perform all testing. All of our technicians are either licensed Respiratory Care Practitioners, EEG Technicians, Registered or Registry Eligible Polysomnography Technicians, or an intern under the direct supervision of one of the prior technicians. All of our technicians are required to maintain current licenses/certificaitons as required by their respective professional disciplines. Every technician is also certified in basic life support.
